Flydubai, known for its expanding regional connectivity, will now operate daily flights between Dubai and Peshawar. This move is expected to significantly enhance travel options for residents of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and beyond.
Peshawar’s Bacha Khan International Airport serves as a vital international travel hub, with over 75 per cent of its flights headed abroad. The new route by flydubai will further improve access to the Gulf and European destinations, according to the PAA.
After its brief stay, flight FZ 375 departed back to Dubai at 2:20am PKT with 184 passengers.
The launch of flydubai’s service follows a growing interest by international carriers in Peshawar. In October 2023, Salam Air from Qatar also began operations, offering twice-weekly flights between Muscat and Peshawar.
